Reservations are required for all trips due to the limited capacity! You must wear an acceptable face covering when not able to maintain 6ft from others. Please, we cannot stress enough, be respectful to others and help each other feel safe! The boats will be sanitized before and after every trip, as well as our rental rods. You are encouraged to bring your own food, drinks, and hand sanitizer. If you are sick, please stay home. If you have been in contact with someone who is sick, please, wait the 14 day period at home before coming into contact with others.
Requirements for Fishing Trips:
- Fully Paid Reservations are Required and are non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled due to limited capacities. If you book multiple people on your reservation first and last names of all participants are required. If you need to make a change to your booking it must be done 24 hours in advance of your trip, otherwise you will forfeit your reservation.
- Only trips with enough advanced paid reservations will sail. If you have a reservation and that trip is not going to sail you will be contacted the evening prior about the cancellation. A minimum of 15 passengers are needed to sail on all trips.
- Tickets must be picked up at the office prior to queuing in line for boarding.
- You will be escorted on board the boat by a crew member. NO ONE is allowed on the boat prior.
- You must wear an acceptable face covering when not able to maintain a distance of 6ft from others on Viking Fleet Property.
- Be prepared when you arrive. There are no ATM’s available in the harbor area.

Requirements for Ferry Trips:
- Fully Paid Reservations are Required. If you book multiple people on your reservation first and last names of all participants are required. You can book over the phone during office hours or 24 hours a day at vikingfleet.com
- Trips may be rescheduled in advance of the scheduled departure for a $10 charge per ticket. Ferry trips may be cancelled for a charge of $25 per ticket.
- You must wear an acceptable face covering when not able to maintain a distance of 6ft from others on Viking Fleet property and in order to board vessels.
- To allow for social distancing, we have reduced the capacities of our vessels in accordance with New York State recommendations.
- Once you have boarded please minimize moving about the ferry. Passengers are responsible for maintaining social distancing at all times possible when moving about the ferry.
- Follow all CDC HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS and DO NOT TRAVEL IF YOU ARE SICK OR HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS. Long Island has entered Phase 4, which allows us to run Whale Watching Trips.
