Mon May 22 – Montauk Spring Porgies
Capt Dave reports a great day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. The morning tide brought in a great pick of large and jumbo sized Porgies. It slowed down between the slack tide, but once the tide started running again we had a slow and steady pick of mixed sized Porgies. Overall a good day of fishing with some decent sized fish coming up around the boat. Our pool winner went to Benny Niranjan from Queens with a 2.4 lb Porgy. Tomorrow’s (Tuesday, May 23rd) 5am Montauk Spring Porgies is cancelled but hopefully we can get out on Wednesday!
