Montauk Jumbo Spring Porgies – Viking Star

Captain Dave reports a slow morning of fishing today, but we made out okay towards the end of the trip. The weather was nasty this morning, but as it cleared up the fishing became better. The fish were off bite in the morning and gave us a slow start, but came back around in a last few hours and we managed to put together a good catch to end the trip. Not too many jumbos today, more of a large mix. The pool winner was Carlos Cuautla from Astoria, Queens with a 2.5 porgy.
