Sun May 28 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a good day of Porgy fishing today on the Viking Starlite. We had a solid 1-2 hours of really good porgy fishing to start off the morning, mostly all in the large to jumbo size. As the day carried on the bite slowed down, we moved around a few times trying out some different spots, but only caught a few more fish. The pool winner on the boat today was Jose Fernandez from Westchester, NY with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy. We are definitely sailing again tomorrow (Monday, May 29th) at 5am on our Montauk Spring Porgies.
