Sun May 28- 1/2 Day Fishing PM
Capt J.R. reports a slower afternoon of fishing on the Viking Star. We did see some improvement from this morning as we got into some more Flukes in the end. The pool winner went to Doug Keller from Southampton, NY with a 2.7 lb Porgy. The weather was beautiful today but the fish bite was less than desirable, we offer our half day fishing trips Saturdays and Sundays both 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm.

Sun May 28- 1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt J.R. reports a slower day of fishing this morning on the Viking Star. We found a few short flukes and sea robin to throw back, but settled the pool in the last seconds of the trip with a large sized Porgy. The pool winner went to Tyrone Chrisjohn from Saugerties, NY with a 2.6 lb Porgy. The weather was beautiful today but the fish bite was less than desirable, hopefully well see a change in our PM portion of half day fishing.
Sat May 27- Sunset Jigging Trip

Nantucket Wreck Trip rescheduled to March 17

Wed Oct 26- Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a great day of fishing today on the Viking Star. We had a great first drop this morning up close to Block Island which gave us a nice mix of Porgies and SeaBass. After loading up we went “Trophy Hunting” in a few little spots off the island and we found them. We founds lots of BIG stuff, jumbo SeaBass up to 5 lbs, along with 1/2 a dozen keeper Cod fish, our limit of large Porgies and tons of Mackerell. Overall, a great day filled with large fish. The pool winner today wen to Nuno Amor from Manhattan, NY with a 3 lb Porgy. We will be sailing again tomorrow (Thursday, October 26) at 5 am for the Block Island Porgies and SeaBass.
Fri Oct 21- Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing today on the Viking Superstar. We started the morning fishing the shallow water up close to Block Island where we had a nice mix of medium sized Porgies and SeaBass. We did have to pick our way through some small Bass but managed get some large sized SeaBass up to 4 lbs. Fishing was steady through out the day with just a nice selection of Scup and SeaBass. The first place pool winner went to Jerome Coston from Queens with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Adolfo Reyes from Allentown, Pennsylvania with 4.2 lb SeaBass. We will be sailing again tomorrow at 5 am using the Viking Superstar for the Block Island Porgies and SeaBass.
