Fishing Report

Montauk

Fri Sept 2- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a good day Porgy fishing today on the Viking Starship. The conditions made for a more difficult trip with the wind, but the fishing was still good. We anchored up down the beach and had some great Porgy fishing with mostly larges and a few jumbos. We made our way to midway and had some great action SeaBassing, but we had to to pick our way through the small fish to get our limit of keepers. We did have a couple keeper Fluke on the boat as well as plenty of mackerell. Both pools were won by Derrick Buchanan with 3.5 lb Porgy and a 4.5 lb SeaBass.

Thur Sept 1- 1/2 Day Fishing AM
