Montauk Summer Porgy Fishing AM Capt Dave reports that this morning started of with excellent fishing. Everyone caught large sized porgies, and there were a bunch of small ones in the mix as well. We even saw some decent sized seabass being caught during the middle of our trip, and they were released unharmed. Towards the end in the afternoon, the pick was a little slower once they headed down the beach. The weather was perfect out and the fish seemed to be off the bite. Everyone hit their limit. Today we had to 2 pool winners, in first place we had Eddie Ramos from Bronx, NY, with 3.5lb porgy, and in second place was Benes Decoy from Nassau, Long Island with a 3lb porgy.
